None is enough reflection

Theres allways one experience in life that either makes, or breaks you. If you're on 16 and pregnant then you definately didnt do it right. But for many other adults they want kids to have someone to care for and watch grow up. I would want kids when it is that time in my life whenever it may be becuase I would like a big family as i don't have one. Having kids not only grows your love for them but also builds the relationship between the couple, by having to raise him/her together and make important decisions together. But having a child is not always how they make it seem in the commercials, there are many cons or struggles that come with having a baby. That includes finances. You have to pay for everything from the day their born till after they go to college. Unless they get a job but that only pays for so much. I think that you dont really think about the money too much because if you really want a child then your willing to put your whole life on hold to meet their needs. At that point you won't think about the money part of it. The part of having a child that makes you want to is watching them grow from the day they are born. Watching them take their first steps, playing sports, making friends, going to school, go to college and then their gone, obviously im not a parent but I can't imagine the experience of dropping your son or daughter off at college realizing that you have done everything you could do to get them to this point in their life. The emotions of sadness and happiness that you, were once in their place at one point. Today in class we talked about/watched a video on caring for your parents when they eventually need you as the grow old. I think it is very important to help your parents at this stage of their life becuase if you think back on your entire life, not once has your mother or father not helped you when you needed it. Because that's what family is there for. So you should be able to help them even if it takes away from your life becuase they were once staying up all night comforting you when you were crying.

interview

Me: mom i have to ask you some questions about parenting.
mom: okay
me: what age were you when you had me and bryanna (my sister)?
mom: uhm, i was 25 when bryanna was born and 28 when I had you.
me: do you wish you waited to have kids?
mom: not at all, if i had waited any longer done anything different then you wouldnt be here and i would have different children.
me: oh ya, I never thought about it like that. Anyway, How did you decide where to raise me?
mom: well at the time whe had you and your sister we were living in Norton. After Bryanna had gone through 5th grade we decided to ove to mansfield becuase grandma was selling her house, the one that I grew up in actually and didnt want you going to the schools in Norton.
me: yeah that would be horrible to still live there. But whats the most sacraficing thing you have ever done for me.
mom: uhm to be honest i dont really know haha its hard to pick out one thing in particular over the past 16 years i think that i do a lot though whether it taking you to practice all the time, or buying you clothes or whatever it is that day but it all adds up and i try to do whatever I can to put a smile on your face.
me: I know i dont say it all the time but i really do appreciate everything you and dad do for me, whether i say it or not. You and dad are role models and i cant thank you enough, i just wish i could give back the same amount that you do for me.
mom: Well Branden thats what being a parent is all about, Dad an I go to work everyday so we can give you the best that we can, and once you grow up and have kids you wont do things for them to get a reward you'll do it because you love them.
me: yeah i get it, that means a lot. Is the way you parent us iinfluenced by the way you were raised by your parents?
mom: yeah of course, My parents were very strict but they also obviously cared about me a lot. And that goes for a lot of parents too.
me: alright i think were done here, thanks mom

love

"Adorn"

These lips can't wait to taste your skin, baby, no, no
And these eyes, yeah, can't wait to see your grin, ooh ooh baby
Just let my love
Just let my love adorn you
Please baby, yeah

You gotta know
You gotta know
You know that I adore you
Yeah baby

Baby these fists will always protect ya, lady
And this mind, oh, will never neglect you, yeah, baby, oh, baby
And if they try to break us down don't let that affect us, no, baby

You just gotta let my love
Let my love
Let my love adorn you
Ah, le-le-le-let it dress you down

You got to know
You gotta know
Know that I adore you
Just that babe

I... oh oh
Let my love adorn you baby
Don't you ever
Don't you let nobody tell you different baby
I'll always adore you
You gotta know know
You got to know know know
Now yeah

Ooh, yeah
The same way that the stars adorn the skies yeah (every night baby)
Oh, look up suga (every night baby)
Now, hey, hey, hey
The same way that my whole world's in your eyes (in your eyes baby)
Ooh, and this time now (and this time baby)

Just let
Let my love adorn you baby, hey
Le-le-le-let it dress you down
You gotta know, baby
Oh, you gotta know
Know that I adore you
Oh, love aint never looked so good on ya
Ooh, put it on baby
Let my love adorn you

Daily Exposures

I think that the daily exposures make me think about the world differently. Especially the Video ones with the visual to go along with it as they bring a perspective of someones story in their life. I think the one where the Grandfather that owned the appt. building and had his family over every sunday  was very interesting because it showed the family coming together for a tradition. And then having to move out and how he and the boys destroying the windows not only representing anger but also the destruction of the family as they now do not live together or visit each other anymore. This story made me think about how important it is to spend time with family because it could get broken up at any time. Another daily exposure that made me see the world differently is the picture of the african american boy starving, and how we all whether we realize it or not take food, water, anything, for granted. As kids get angry about their parents not letting them do something or buy something, there are people like the boy in this picture that are suffering from much worse things. Even though many people do have it bad, someone out there has it worse.

Difficult Conversation

"Hey you" the store manager yelled as I ran out the door with a pocket full of gold. He was a heavy-boned man so I knew this would be an easy steal but i forgot to factor in the mall cops/police. I ran all the way to the bottom floor and my buddy was waiting for me at the gate. I jumped in and we were gone like the wind, or well, we thought we were. There were at least 10 police cars rolling in and the logic between me and my friend and I was, we were already going to jail so why not try and escape. We gunned it by them and took off from there. I shot the cop cars tires and that was that. We stole an random car nearby and that was that. We continued our lives from there as if tht day had never happened.
